Do You Want To Be A Breeder?

After over 40 years of experience with schnauzers, I have found the experience of owning a Schnauzer covering a whole plethora of emotions. Having one of these fuzz faces, brings immense joy and the deepest sorrow. The cute fuzz face is absolutely adorable and they are loving sweet face lickers as puppies. Just to hold them and hear them snore in your lap is priceless. their desire to please is undeniable. And then there is a moment at the time of sickness or loss of your pet creates the largest void and most painful sorrow you have had in your life.

As a lifelong owner of miniature schnauzers, I have experienced all the emotions. As I type this, the memories all rush back with all the highs and lows. Some were abandoned rescues, one was from a puppy mill bust in Arkansas, and 2 were purebred from reputable breeders of Champion Miniature Schnauzers. No matter what form they came in, they were members of the family, and a part of my soul. And with the advent of social media, now owners from all corners of the world can corroborate, celebrate, and share their joys, questions, and losses.

But what has also developed is the access to breeders of all types..... from the backyard breeder to the professional. And this article and other topics will help people who are thinking of being a breeder to get the REAL truth of what it takes to be a sincere and dedicated breed ambassador.

We will have the stories of real breeders, and real litters, and the REAL costs associated with putting out a single litter. You will learn the business side and see the time, effort, love and end result (the profit). People who do not know why a Miniature Schnauzer puppy costs so much, will now understand and decide that there is a HUGE DIFFERENCE between a $400 pup from Craigslist and the 2000.00 puppy from a reputable breeder.
