When Kathy and I decided to embark on this journey of love, it was a passion that was bottomless for the Miniature Schnauzer breed. Belonging to many, many social media groups (each with thousands of members each) we see everyday the questions, problems, happiness and passion that people have for their Miniature Schnauzers. We have cried when someone's pup is ill, or a friend's dog is needing prayers because of various illnesses like liver problems, pancreatitus, or cancer. We have OOOOHHHHd and AWWWWWWd at the proud parents of a new Miniature Schnauzer puppy sharing their first pictures. Through all this, both Kathy and I have gven guidance, offered condolences, and celebrated with people who love this magnificent breed.

I myself, have had Mniaure Schnauzers all my life. I understand the power of THE SCHNAUZZ, and how addictive they are to own. The Lay's potato chip jingle "betcha can't eat just one" is very true for the Miniature Schnauzer.... except for the eating part of course. Ask on social media groups dedicated to the breed, and see how many people own JUST ONE. Generally they WERE planning on being a single dog household. But then the beard grabs your heart, and they seemingly multiply into 2, 3, 4 dogs. One recent question posed in a Facebook group asked "How many of you let your dog sleep in your bed? " Well the first responses were hilarious:

• "DOG? How about 3 of them! And they let me share THEIR bed!"
• "Where else would they sleep? LOL"
• "Yes, I let my mini share my bed" which immediately got comments like : "Only one?"

So after getting a new miniature Schanuzer puppy (Maverick), we decided to take the endless research into this breed, and share our passion with others.

What we plan on doing with this site is pretty exhaustive:

1) Foster the Miniature Schnauzer breed standard and promote the dogs as the best choice for all types of family and house pet situations.

2) Educate the public on the breed from dietary no-nos, to keeping them happy, healthy, and thriving.

3) Create resources for the public to find and promote businesses that cater to the vision we hold dear with our Miniature Schnauzer, This includes dog-friendly restaurants, veterinarians, pet-friendly vacation spots, groomers, kennels and spas, and even trainers. Members can contribute resources in their area to promote excellent services for their dogs.

4) Offer advice and contributions from experts on all areas of the health and maintenance of your Ministure Schnauzers.

5) Setup a clearinghouse of resources to find ETHICAL and HUMANE breeders and Schnauzer rescue groups as well as expose the endless stream of fakes, fraudsters, and scam artists stealing your money.

We hope that this site sets a standard for being your primary resource for information, sharing and promoting the Miniature Schnauzer breed.
